How Resizing Works

To preserve design quality, we do not stretch or distort your artwork. Instead, we scale it proportionally to fit the chosen size. This means the shorter side may be smaller than expected.

Example:

If your file is 11"x7" and you order a 4"x4" transfer, the longer side (11") is reduced to 4", and the shorter side will scale down accordingly — in this case, to approximately 2.55".

Tips to Avoid Surprises

For best results, upload artwork that already matches the aspect ratio of your selected transfer size. This helps ensure your final print uses the full area available.

Follow these recommended steps for optimal results with your DTF Transfers:

1. No Pre-Press Required

You don’t need to pre-press your garment, unless it has visible moisture or wrinkles. If you choose to pre-press, limit it to 2–3 seconds.

2. Align Your Transfer

Place your design face-up on the fabric in the desired location. Heat-resistant tape is optional, but helpful for hats or tricky surfaces. Make sure it’s flat and wrinkle-free.

3. Press Settings

310–320°F (155–160°C)

Medium to firm

Use parchment paper or a Teflon sheet to protect both the transfer and your press.

4. Cold Peel

Let the transfer cool for 5–10 seconds before peeling. Start from one corner and peel slowly and evenly.

5. Optional Second Press

For improved durability and a matte finish, repress for 5 seconds with parchment paper after peeling.
